Field of Management and Organization hosts a number of leading academics in their respective fields of study in Turkey. Field of Management and Organization hosts a number of leading academics in their respective fields of study in Turkey. Academics of the sub-department have a large number of books and articles published by various prestigious local and international publishers and scholarly journals. They have also participated in several local and international symposiums or top conferences.

Field of Management and Organization contributes to the undergraduate program and two Master’s programs offered by the Department of Business Administration. The field also runs a Master’s program and a Ph.D. program.

The field conducts research and offers undergraduate and graduate level courses in the following areas:

  • Organization Theory
  • Organizational Behavior
  • Human Resource Management
  • Strategic Management
  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Faculty members of the field conduct research and deliver lectures aiming at understanding, and effective management, of organizations in the public or private sector. The main courses offered by the sub-department are as follows:

  • Globalization and Management in Turkey (Master’s Program)
  • Turkish Business Context (Ph.D. Program)

Under the leadership of the academics of the field of Management and Organization, Center of Research Methods and Center of Human Resource Management and Strategy were established in order to provide consultancy services to public and private sector organizations and conduct research and training activities in various areas, including research methods, human resource management, competence analysis and performance management, business processes, restructuring and strategic management.

Academics of the field have contributed to the preparation of strategic plans of many public institutions and have high level of competence in such areas as restructuring, job design and analysis, performance appraisal systems and job evaluation.
