M. Edib Gürkan graduated from the Faculty of Business at Istanbul University in 2009. He recieved his Ph.D. in 2016 from the Department of Business Administration at Hacettepe University, specializing in Production Management and Quantitative Methods. M. Edib Gürkan began his academic career as a research assistant at Hacettepe University, later held various academic positions at Karabük University, and joined ASBÜ in October 2025. His research interests lie in operations research, operations management, and supply chain management. More specifically, his work focuses on inventory and pricing decisions, production planning, scheduling, and supply chain optimization. His research has been published in prestigious international journals such as Omega, Journal of the Operational Research Society, and Computers & Industrial Engineering.
